LAFAYETTE, La. – Alice Hultberg and
Devin Bilbo added two more wins for the ULM outdoor track and field team at the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette this weekend.
Hultberg earned first place in the discus throw with a 45.43m mark. Bilbo won the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.05.
Along with the two wins, the Warhawks also added nine podium finishes. For the men,
Mikun Adeniran placed second in the discus throw with a mark of 50.75m, and
Juwan Blignaut finished in second in the 1500m race with a 3:48.75 time. The men's 4x400m relay team of
Imani Coleman,
Matthew Malcolm,
Bradley Riccardi, and
Santana Richardson earned second place with a 3:15.58 time.
Richardson also placed third in the 400m. Carlo Martinez-Jaramillo and
Blake Stevens finished in third in the 1500m and hammer throw.
For the women, Katerina Natsiopoulou and
Ansley Long placed second in the 400m hurdles and 5000m races.
Cora Burger reached the podium in the long jump with a third-place finish.
ULM is back in action next weekend with the Texas relays from Wednesday, March 26 through Saturday, March 29, and the Bobcat Invitational from Thursday, March 27 through Saturday.
