• The ULM baseball team starts play in the month of April with a non-conference matchup vs. Stephen F. Austin on Tuesday night at Lou St. Amant Field with first pitch set for 6 p.m.
The Warhawks are coming off a series loss to Arkansas State. ULM lost game one before taking game two with an 8-2 score before dropping the rubber match on Sunday. The Lumberjacks have lost four in a row with a recent weekend sweep to Houston Christian.
ULM holds the all-time series lead with a 43-23 record. The Warhawks swept SFA last season with a 13-2 run rule win in game one and an 11-6 win in the second matchup.

RANKINGS SUMMARY
As a team, ULM enters Tuesday ranked fourth in the Sun Belt Conference with 42 total stolen bases and 1.50 stolen bases per game. Earlier this season versus Alcorn State, the Warhawks shattered the single-game program record for stolen bases and swiped 14 bags versus the Braves.
Isaiah Walker's 14 stolen bases is the second-highest amount in the conference and is good for 51st in the country. On the mound, Joey Cirelli is one of the most efficient pitchers in the country and holds a walks allowed per nine innings rate of 1.39, which is 28th in the nation and third in the conference, and a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 5.80 (41st in country, 4th in SBC).
