NATCHITOCHES, La./TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Six wins in 24 total podium finishes were earned for the ULM outdoor track and field team with a two-meet weekend at the Crimson Tide Invitational and the Leon Johnson Invitational on Saturday

At the Leon Johnson Invitational,
Mikun Adeniran started the day with a win in the discus throw with a personal best 53.63m mark and
Sydney Lake won the hammer throw with a 58.07m distance. In the running events,
Matthew Malcolm placed first in the 400m hurdles with a season-best time of 53.13.
Sierra Barrera won the 1500m with a personal best 4:45.90 time, and
Chase Gunn won the 3000m steeplechase with a season-best time of 9:38.34.

In the Crimson Tide Invitational,
Stafon Roach placed second in the triple jump with a distance of 15.74m.
Devin Bilbo finished top three in the 110m hurdles with a 13.88 time, and
Algirdas Strelciunas placed outside the podium with a fourth-place result in the long jump.

The Warhawks continue their season next weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational from Thursday, Apr. 17 through Friday, Apr. 18, and then at the Jim Mize Relays on Saturday, Apr. 19.
