MONROE, La. – The ULM tennis team (3-14, 0-10 Sun Belt) will be hitting the road to take on Southern Miss (4-13, 0-10 Sun Belt) on Saturday (April 19) at 10 a.m. for the final match of the 2025 season. Both teams will be fighting for their lone Sun Belt win of the season.
The Warhawks are looking to bounce back after 4-0 losses at home to UTEP and South Alabama last weekend. ULM battled in singles play, but the Miners clinched the doubles point and secured two singles victories to seal the win. Against the Jaguars, a doubles win and two singles wins secured another win for South Alabama.
Southern Miss enters play this weekend coming off a 0-5 loss to Arkansas State in Jonesboro. The Warhawks face the Golden Eagles for the first time since 2016, the last match coming in Monroe, a 3-3 tie among the teams. The Warhawks have not traveled to Hattiesburg in over a decade, the last trip being a win for ULM.
