MONROE, La. – The ULM women's basketball team (6-7, 1-3 Sun Belt) return to action on the road as they take on the Ragin' Cajuns (1-13, 0-4 Sun Belt). Tip-off at the Cajundome is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT on Thurs- day (Jan. 8). The Warhawks are coming off an 89-71 loss at home vs. Arkansas State.
 
SERIES HISTORY –
 
ULM and the Ragin' Cajuns are set to meet for the 70th time in their histories. The Warhawks lead the series 42-27 overall and own a 17-15 advantage in Lafayette. The teams have split the season series in each of the past two seasons. ULM's last win in Lafayette was two seasons ago by a score of 65-59 which snapped an eight-game losing streak on the road against the Cajuns. The Warhawks are seeking back-to-back wins against the Cajuns for the first time since 2014-15.

SCOUTING THE RAGIN' CAJUNS– 
 
The Ragin' Cajuns enter Thursday's game with a 1-13 record overall and are coming off of an 81-56 home loss against South Alabama. The Cajuns feature four double-digit scorers led by a pair of freshmen in Amijah Price (13.3 PPG) and Imani Daniel (11.9 PPG). Daniel also leads the team in rebounds at 6.6 per game while junior Bianca Silva leads in assists (42) and steals (29). The Cajuns have been efficient from the free-throw line as they are ranked third in the Sun Belt Conference shooting 72.7 percent from the charity stripe as a team. 
 
INGRAM IGNITES FOR 30 –

Graduate student J'Mani Ingram established a new career high last Saturday vs. Arkansas State as she scored 30 points on a personal-best 12-for-18 shooting from the field. Ingram is the first Warhawk to score 30 this season, the last occurring in 2025 by Jakayla Johnson. Ingram's point total against the Red Wolves is the most by a Warhawk player in a game this season and extended her streak of double-digit scoring to six games. 
 
SHAVERS SHINES TO START NEW YEAR –

Graduate student Marcavia Shavers became the first Warhawk player this season to record a double-double when she did so on New Years Day vs. South Alabama. Shavers scored a career-high 17 points behind a career-best eight baskets while also pulling down 17 rebounds. Shavers followed that performance with her third career double-double and her eighth career game of double-digit rebounds as she scored 12 points while recording a career-high 21 rebounds vs. Arkansas State. The 21 rebounds are the most tallied by a Sun Belt player this season.
 
LEADING THE WAY – 
 
ULM feature a balanced scoring attack as five different players average at least 7.2 points per game. J'Mani Ingram leads the team averaging 12.3 points per game, followed by Marcavia Shavers (8.7), Nakiyah Mays-Prince (7.6), Asjah Inniss (7.3), Jazmine Jackson (7.2) and Keshunti Nichols (7.2). Marcavia Shavers averages 8.5 rebounds per game to lead the team while Nakiyah Mays-Prince has posted a team-best average of 3.8 assists per game. Asjah Inniss leads the team in steals with 26 while Asia Barclay and Keshunti Nichols each have six blocks apiece. Jazmine Jackson remains the team's top option from three-point range as she has connected on 20 of her 47 attempts from beyond the arc this season.
 
OUTSTANDING ON THE OFFENSIVE GLASS – 
 
The Warhawks completed their game at Indiana with a 19-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was ULM's second-best output on the offensive glass of the season-behind their 23 offensive rebounds at Sam Houston. The last time the Warhawks held an opponent to one offensive rebound was against UT Arlington in 2021. ULM are fifth in the Sun Belt and are ranked 50th in the nation in offensive rebounding, averaging 14.5 offensive rebounds per game. 
 
FREQUENTLY FORCING TURNOVERS – 
 
ULM have been proficient this season when it comes to causing their opponents to make mistakes. The Warhawks are ranked inside the top-50 in all of Division I with 20.6 turnovers forced per game. ULM have seen three different players establish career highs for steals in a game this year. Graduate student Keshunti Nichols recorded four steals vs. Louisiana Tech, junior Kamille Brown posted five steals vs. Grambling State and graduate student Asia Barclay notched five steals at Alabama. As a team, the Warhawks are inside the top-75 teams in Division I averaging 10.4 steals per game.
 
JACKSON FROM THREE –

Redshirt junior Jazmine Jackson has established herself as the top threat from beyond the arc for the Warhawks. Jackson recorded her third game of the season with five three-pointers at Texas State as she finished the game with a team-leading 17 points. The Jacksonville, Fla. native also accomplished the feat in the win against Lamar when she scored a career-high 25 points including hitting five-of-six attempts from beyond the arc. Jackson became the first ULM player this season to break the 20-point mark.
 
MEMORABLE MILESTONES –

Graduate student Asjah Inniss achieved a pair of impressive career benchmarks vs. Grambling State. On a three-point shot late in the second quarter, Inniss would record her 500th career point in what was her 100th career game. Inniss became the fourth player on the Warhawks to reach 500 career points. Katelyn Chomko also reached a career milestone in style as her final three-pointer vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff brought her to an even 100 points for her career. J'Mani Ingram (800) and Nakiyah Mays-Prince (600) each passed important scoring marks for their careers at Mississippi State.
