SCOUTING THE GOLDEN EAGLES–

Southern Miss enters Friday's game with a 14-15 record overall, having most recently lost 57- 43 at South Alabama. The Golden Eagles feature five players who average double-digit points highlighted by former Warhawks Jakayla Johnson (14.7 PPG) and Meloney Thames (13.2 PPG). Southern Miss rank just outside the top-50 teams averaging 74.6 points per game while they also lead the Sun Belt in free throw percentage shooting 76 percent as a team and average the fewest turnovers at 13.5 per game.

LEADING THE WAY –

ULM's scoring attack has evolved into a triple threat of players averaging at least 10 points per game. J'Mani Ingram leads the team with 11.4 PPG and is followed by Nakiyah Mays-Prince (11.1 PPG) and Marcavia Shavers (10.3 PPG). Marcavia Shavers averages 9.3 rebounds per game to lead the team while Nakiyah Mays-Prince has posted a team-best average of 4.7 assists per game. Nakiyah Mays-Prince lead the team in steals with 52 while Keshunti Nichols has recorded a team high 12 blocks. Jazmine Jackson (9.7 PPG) stands as the team's top option from three-point range as she has knocked 58 of her 138 attempts this season.

CELEBRATING OUR SENIORS –

Following Friday's regular season finale against Southern Miss, ULM women's basketball will honor a group of nine seniors who are set to complete their careers as a member of the Warhawks. Asia Barclay, Katelyn Chomko, Marissa Gasaway, J'Mani Ingram, Asjah Inniss, Nakiyah Mays-Prince, Keshunti Nichols, Vanessa Schwarzmann and Marcavia Shavers all joined the program this season and will be recognized for their overall career achievements as well as their contributions this season to ULM.

JACKSON'S CAREER NIGHT –

Redshirt junior Jazmine Jackson put on a show Wednesday night vs. Texas State as she finished with a career-high 34 points on a career-best 11-of-13 shooting from the field, two three-pointers shy of tying the single-game program record as she made seven. The Jacksonville, Fla. native becomes one of 13 players in ULM history to score 34 points or more in a game. Jackson's 58 three-point field goals this season is now the ninth-best season total in program history and her 42% shooting from beyond the arc currently stands as the second-best mark for a season in program history.

GOOD THINGS COME IN THREES –

In ULM's last four games, the Warhawks have made 39 of their 101 three-point attempts which is good for 38.6% shooting as a team. In their game at Troy, ULM knocked down 14 three-pointers which was one shy of tying the program record for a single game. The Warhawks have made 159 three-pointers this season which is already the third-best season total in program history and their 33.7 shooting percentage from the beyond the arc is currently the seventh-best season in program history.

INGRAM REACHES 1K –

Graduate student J'Mani Ingram achieved 1,000 career points for her career in an 18-point performance against Georgia State on February 4. The North Augusta, S.C. native has led the Warhawks in points scored for much of the season and established a new career high vs. Arkansas State when she scored 30 points on a personal-best 12-for-18 shooting from the field. Ingram's point total against the Red Wolves is one of two 30-point games by a Warhawk this season.

SHAVERS SHINING –

Graduate student Marcavia Shavers became the first Warhawk player this season to record a double-double when she did so vs. South Alabama. Shavers scored 17 points behind a career-best eight baskets while also pulling down 17 rebounds. Shavers followed that performance with her third career double-double and her eighth career game of double-digit rebounds as she scored 12 points while recording a career-high 21 rebounds vs. Arkansas State. The 21 rebounds are the second most tallied by a Sun Belt player this season. Shavers is fourth in the Sun Belt with nine double-doubles after posting 11 points and 15 rebounds at Georgia Southern.

MARVELOUS MAYS-PRINCE –

Senior Nakiyah Mays-Prince has impressed for the Warhawks in her first year in Monroe. The Chicago, Ill. native recorded 23 points while tying her career high of six steals vs. Troy before posting her first double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 assists against the Cajuns. Mays-Prince continued her stellar season when she established a new career high of 27 points at Troy while tying her career high of 11 assists for her second double-double. The senior point guard leads the Sun Belt with an average of 4.7 assists per game and has now recorded at least four assists in all but seven games this season.

OUTSTANDING ON THE OFFENSIVE GLASS –

The Warhawks completed their game at Indiana with a 19-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. The last time the Warhawks held an opponent to one offensive rebound was against UT Arlington in 2021. ULM are now second in the Sun Belt and are ranked 7th in the nation in offensive rebounding, averaging 16.1 offensive rebounds per game with a season high of 31 against the Cajuns.

BENCH BOOST –

ULM is ranked second in the Sun Belt and 14th in the nation averaging 27.2 bench points per game. ULM's bench was responsible for exactly half of the team's 80 points vs. Eastern Michigan, the most points scored in a game by the reserves since last season's 117-60 season opening win vs. Central Baptist. After sur- passing the 30-point threshold just once last season, the Warhawk bench has done so 11 times this season including a high of 54 as a unit against the Ragin' Cajuns.

UP NEXT –
The Warhawks will wait and see where they will be seeded for the Sun Belt Conference tournament. The tournament tips off from the Pensacola Bay Center on Tuesday (March 3).
