MONROE, La. — The ULM men's basketball team has revealed its 2026-27 schedule, as the Warhawks prepare to kick off the
Ryan Cross era. The Warhawks have 13 matchups on their home court, the first season with the newly-named b1Bank Fant Coliseum.
"This non-conference schedule is filled with some exciting, yet challenging opponents," said head coach
Ryan Cross. "We are excited to attack this schedule as we work to build a team that is prepared to challenge in the Sun Belt Conference. I am confident that this schedule will accomplish the ultimate goal of preparing our team to play meaningful basketball in the month of March."
ULM will first kick off the season on November 2 against Central Michigan in Monroe, as a part of the MAC/SBC Challenge. This is the third season the Warhawks have competed in the MAC/SBC Challenge, last seeing Central Michigan in the 2023-24 season as a part of the challenge, ULM claiming the win.
The Warhawks will then host Champion Christian on November 4 before heading west to the state of Texas. The men's basketball team will see Texas A&M on November 9 and TCU on November 10, before continuing the western trek. On November 13, ULM will face Arizona State for the first time in program history before facing Grand Canyon, also for the debut faceoff in the series.
November 16 will bring ULM back to Monroe, as the team will host Dallas Christian before traveling south to Baton Rouge. The 10
th matchup between LSU and ULM will take place on November 18, before another home game against HCU on November 24. The wrap up the month of November, the Warhawks will hit the road for New Orleans, facing Tulane on November 29.
The Warhawks will open December at Lamar (Dec. 2) before the 2026-27 Sun Belt Conference opener. ULM will take on Georgia State in b1Bank Fant Coliseum on December 5 to open conference play before a neutral contest on December 12 against Ole Miss in Southaven, Mississippi. The team will then hit the road for Lafayette in facing the Ragin' Cajuns (Dec. 16) before the holidays. The conclusion of 2026 brings another nonconference opponent in Oklahoma in Norman on December 28 and a New Year's Eve challenge at Old Dominion on December 31.
ULM will ring in the new year on the east coast, taking on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers on January 2, before a three-game homestand to continue league play. The Warhawks will host Sun Belt East schools in Marshall (Jan. 7) and App State (Jan. 9) before taking on South Alabama on January 14.
ULM will go back on the road on January 16 to travel to Troy, then facing Southern Miss on January 20. On January 23, the Warhawks will host Louisiana Tech in the first men's basketball matchup since 2023 and the first Sun Belt game between the two teams. Another trip out east to James Madison will take place on January 30.
The Warhawks will face Troy at home on February 3 before competing in the second-half of the MAC/SBC Challenge on February 6. Two road trips to take on Arkansas State (Feb. 10) and Louisiana Tech (Feb. 13) will bring up the final games of the regular season. ULM will host Southern Miss on February 17 and Arkansas State on February 20 before the final road trip. The Warhawks will travel to South Alabama on February 24 before concluding the regular season at b1Bank Fant Coliseum on February 26 against the Ragin' Cajuns.
The Sun Belt Conference Tournament will take place from March 2 to 8, 2027 at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Florida.
