SAN MARCOS, Texas – The ULM tennis team continued in the fall season, competing against Incarnate Word, St. Mary's, Troy and Texas State at the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by conference opponent Texas State. The tournament began on Saturday and concluded on Sunday.
 
Five of the seven members of the ULM tennis team competed in singles play, spread out over three rounds throughout the weekend. Vanja Cado led the team with two wins over Incarnate Word's Jordan Isaak and Selina Wu of St. Mary's. Lucia Fernandez Jorrin and Mariia Iordanova both claimed wins in singles play, over Paula Garrote of St. Mary's and Troy's Hagar Amin Ramadan, respectively.
 
In doubles play, the duo of Camila Molina Barranco/Lucia Fernandez Jorrin claimed a win over Selina Wu and Karen Kondo of St. Mary's. The other duo of Mariia Iordanova/Vanja Cado fell to their opponents.

ULM tennis will travel to Lafayette, La. on Nov. 1 to compete in the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational, hosted by Sun Belt opponent UL-Lafayette.
