BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The ULM track & field team wrapped up action at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Tuesday (Feb. 20) at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala. The women's team finished the meet in seventh place with 46 points while the men's team placed sixth with 74.5 points.

Individually,
Eunice Ilunga Mbuyi completed the sweep of the jumping events and was crowned champion of the triple jump with a result of 13.01m (42-8.25).
Kimone Campbell clocked a personal-best time of 2:10.19 in the 800m finals and earned a position on the podium for the Warhawks.

Two Warhawks landed spots on the podium in the triple jump on the men's side.
Stafon Roach placed second with a 15.04m (49-4.25) leap while
Jay Louison-Roe took third with a mark of 14.62m (47-11.75).
J'Marcus Sewell ran a personal-best time of 21.35 in the 200m for second place in the finals.
Devin Bilbo ran a sub-8.00 time in the 60m hurdles and crossed the finish line third with a 7.99. ULM capped off the meet with a third-place finish in the 4x400 with Eric May, Sewell,
Santana Richardson and
Imani Coleman.
Arkansas State won both the men's and women's SBC Indoor Championships. The Red Wolves tallied 144.5 points on the men's side and 86.5 points on the women's side. South Alabama placed second on the men's side with 122 points while the Ragin' Cajuns came in third with 106 points. Coastal Carolina finished 5.5 points behind A-State on the women's side and Texas State rounded out the top three with 77 points.
