MONROE, La. – The ULM tennis team (2-2) will continue spring play, hosting LSU-Shreveport on Thursday (Feb. 27) afternoon, starting at 1 p.m. in Heard Stadium. This is a rescheduled match, originally intended for January, but freezing temperatures moved it later in the season.
The Warhawks will be taking on the Pilots for the second-consecutive season. The last matchup between the teams was Jan. 26, 2024, opening the season at Heard Stadium with a 5-2 win over LSUS.Â
Most recently, ULM faced 1-20 foe Louisiana Tech, falling 1-6 in the dual match in Ruston. Lucia Jorrin Fernandez claimed the lone win for the Warhawks, with the Bulldogs picking up the doubles point and the other singles matches.
The Warhawks will hit the road to open the month of March, taking on Jackson State on Saturday (March 1). First serve in Jackson is scheduled for 2 p.m.
