MONROE, La. – The ULM tennis team (3-6, 0-3 Sun Belt) is set to return to Heard Stadium for a pivotal Sun Belt Conference weekend, hosting Georgia Southern (8-5, 0-2 Sun Belt) on Friday (March 21) and Coastal Carolina (9-4, 3-0 Sun Belt) on Sunday (March 23). Both matches are scheduled for 10 a.m.

The Warhawks are looking to rebound after a 1-4 loss to the Ragin' Cajuns in Lafayette. ULM secured the doubles point behind a strong performance from Vanja Cado and Mariam Hatem, but the Cajuns responded by claiming four singles victories to clinch the match.

Georgia Southern enters the weekend after dropping matches to Texas State and Coastal Carolina. The Eagles have been competitive in matches this season but are searching for their first victory in Sun Belt Conference play.

ULM looks to defeat Georgia Southern for the first time since 2019 to break a four-match losing skid, that match also coming at Heard Stadium. The 2019 season was also the last time the Warhawks hosted the Eagles, competing in Statesboro or in neutral territory over the last four meetings.

Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina remains undefeated in Sun Belt play, sitting at a 3-0 record following its 4-1 victory over Georgia Southern. The Chanticleers have been dominant in conference matchups, showcasing depth in both singles and doubles play.

The Warhawks are looking to defeat the Chanticleers for the first time in program history, welcoming them to Monroe for the first time since 2019. This will be the first time Coastal Carolina has been hosted by ULM in the Alvaro era, looking to pick up a home win.

ULM will remain at home next weekend as they host Marshall on Saturday (March 29) and App State on Sunday (March 30) at Heard Stadium. First serve for both matches is scheduled for 10 a.m.
