NEW ORLEANS -- For the second straight week, Anna Andrysova has been selected as the Sun Belt Conference's Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference revealed on Thursday (March 6) afternoon. It marks the third time during the 2024-25 season Andrysova has been named SBC Women's Golfer of the Week.

Andrysova won her second individual championship last week at the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate and was the only player in the field of 87 golfers to register a score below par at 213 (-3). The junior from Prague, Czech Republic helped the Warhawks finish third overall at the event. In her first round, Andrysova made three birdies and registered a round of 75 (+3). She then shot a career-low round of 65 (-7) in the second round and made seven birdies and 11 pars. She did not make a bogey in her impressive second round. In Tuesday's final round, Andrysova drained three birdies and 12 pars for a score of 73 (+1) and sealed the tournament victory by three strokes.

After shooting a 210 (-6) and tied for 11th individually at the Westbrook Invitational, Andrysova garnered SBC Women's Golfer of the Week last week. Andrysova drained nine birdies and also made two eagles throughout the tournament, shooting 68-70-72 across all three rounds. She claimed SBC Women's Golfer of the Week honors back in the fall after her first collegiate win at the 2024 Lady Red Wolves Classic with a total score of 211 (66-73-72) and completed the tournament five strokes under par, leading the field in par-three scoring (2.92) and birdies (12). She was one of four Warhawks in the top 12 on the leaderboard and was instrumental in the Warhawks capturing its first team title of the season.

ULM women's golf is back in action at the Pinetree Country Club Women's Collegiate from March 24-25 in Kennesaw, Ga.
