MONROE, La. – College Sports Communicators announced their Softball Academic All-District honorees, with five ULM softball players named to the list. All five players started in every game they appeared in, while posting above a 3.5 GPA. Two of the five honorees were also named a finalist for Academic All-America, to be voted on at a later date by College Sports Communicators members.
Meagan Brown closed out the 2025 season hitting .404, collecting 72 hits, 18 doubles and 60 RBIs, ranked in the Sun Belt and nationally. Brown was also named to the All-Sun Belt First Team.
Morgan Brown posted a .382 batting average, recording 71 hits, 13 home runs and 62 RBIs, also named to the All-Sun Belt First Team and receiving Softball America Freshman All-American honors.
Elle Carter notched a .280 average on the season, tallying 44 hits, 12 RBIs and 119 assists at shortstop.
Carys Platt collected three walk-offs in the 2025 season, batting .357 with 51 hits and 15 RBIs.
Maryssa Zenzen closes out the list with a .299 average, recording 50 hits, eight home runs and 327 putouts at first base to lead the team.
