MONROE, La. – ULM volleyball continues its non-conference schedule this weekend with the Cowgirl Classic tournament in Lake Charles. It plays former Sun Belt foe UT Arlington on Thursday, Sept. 4, before facing Alcorn State on Friday, Sept 5, and McNeese on Saturday, Sept. 6. All games are scheduled for 1 p.m.

SCOUTING THE MAVERICKS –
UT Arlington enters as the only undefeated team in the field, sweeping the Bradley Invitational Tournament last weekend. Jalie Tritt and Sophie Ocampo present the top threats on the attack, with Tritt averaging 3.07 kills per set and Ocampo averaging 2.43 kills per set. Mira Ledermueller is the top setter with 8.71 assists per set, with libero Samantha Glenn totaling 66 digs (4.71 p/s) through three games.

SCOUTING THE LADY BRAVES –
Alcorn State possesses a 0-2 record, dropping both non-conference matches 0-3 vs. Nicholls and Louisiana Tech. Rylan Jones is the top attacker with 1.92 kills per set. Setter Juliana Henao brings 5.00 assists per set into the weekend, and libero Tomoni Giddings averages 3.20 digs per set.

SCOUTING THE COWGIRLS –
Like the Warhawks, McNeese holds a 2-1 record from the Sam Houston Invitational last weekend. D'Nari Mills enters as the biggest threat offensively, owning a stat line of 3.54 kills per set, with Kinga Ziolkowska possessing 7.31 assists per set as the setter. Neal Grace Berry leads the team in total digs with 39.

CLEAR THE HALL –
Freshman outside hitter
Aniya Hall has had a stellar 2025 season so far. She leads the team in total kills with 35 and in kills per set with 3.18. Her hitting percentage also ranks third on the squad. Thanks in part to her three set-ending kills, she was named to the Southeastern Showdown All-Tournament Team.

IN KENZIE WE TRUST –
Junior middle blocker
Kenzie Behl served as one of the key contributors in a 2-1 start to the season last weekend. She, along with Hall, was named to the Southeastern Showdown All-Tournament team. She is third in total kills with 20 and leads in hitting percentage with a .354 mark. Her defensive production is also good with 11 total digs and five total blocks.

MORE OF MORGAN –
Junior setter
Morgan Howard is the main returner for the Warhawks in 2025. She is averaging 5.82 assists per set through three games with 64 total. She is also the team leader in service aces with seven, four more than the next highest total. Her defensive numbers rank well on the team as she holds third place in total digs.

KIMES ON TO DEFEND –
Sophomore libero
Camryn Kimes leads the way defensively for ULM this season. She has produced 44 total digs with 4.00 digs per set with a .980 reception percentage. She also contributes 14 assists on the year offensively.
