MONROE, La. – College Sports Communicators announced their Softball Academic All-District honorees, with five ULM softball players named to the list. Two seniors, two juniors and a sophomore earn the recognition, as two Warhawks are recognized for the second time. Waggoner
 
Meagan Brown was named Academic All-District for the second season, making starts in all 58 games in the outfield. She recorded 57 hits and drove in 28 runs this season. Senior Kelsey Kovar saw 42 games, primarily at catcher, catching a Sun Belt-leading 12 runners stealing in 2026. Senior Carys Platt is named Academic All-District for the third consecutive year, with 57 starts under her belt this season and 43 hits. Hollie Thomas logged 53 hits, 13 being doubles, in her sophomore season where she saw action in 55 games. Skylar Waggoner rounds out the nominees with a 2.21 ERA in her first season with the Warhawks, striking out 104 batters.
