KENNESAW, Ga. -- The ULM women's golf team rallied with two strong rounds and battled back to earn fourth place as a team at the Pinetree Women's Collegiate at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Ga. Following a first-round score of 303 (+19) on Monday, the Warhawks posted a 282 (-2) in round two and a 294 (+10) in the final round, climbing two spots on the leaderboard in the final round.
Anna Andrysova was the top finisher for the Warhawks and shot two rounds under par with a tournament-low score of 66 (-5) in her second round, tying for sixth place individually. After a first-round tally of 81 (+10), Andrysova regrouped and shot five birdies and zero bogeys in her second round and shot an eagle and two birdies in her final round of 70 (-1).
Isabel Mas Pitarch tied for ninth and registered an overall score of 218 (+5) with individual rounds of 73-72-73.
Daniela Campillo finished just outside the top 10 and jumped up two spots on the leaderboard Tuesday with a score of 220 (+7) with round scores of 74-72-74.
Johanna Sjursen placed in a tie for 21st after shooting 224 (+11) and
Tessa Ion rounded out the lineup for the Warhawks with a score of 243 (+30).
The ULM women's golf team will host the ULM Invitational starting on Monday (March 31) at Bayou DeSiard Country Club in Monroe for the final tournament of the regular season.
