POINT CLEAR, Ala. – After two rounds of play, the ULM women's golf team leads the field in the Sun Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship after shooting 292 (+4) in round 2 at The Lakewood Club in Point Clear, Alabama.
Daniela Campillo remains as the lowest scorer for the Warhawks, carding a 71 (-1) to bring her overall total to a -5. Campillo holds the two-stroke lead for first place with her score, posting three birdies in the second round.
Anna Andrysova claimed two birdies in her second round and registered a score of 74 (+2) to rank eighth on the leaderboard.
Emma Manzini and
Zoe McLean-Tattan, both making their SBC Championship debut, recorded scores of 73 (+1) and 74 (+2), respectively, to hold tied at 15th with an overall +4.
Johanna Sjursen completed the lineup with a 75 (+2) as well, now sitting at five-over across 36 holes.
The Warhawks now lead the field, with a four-over score and seven-stroke lead. App State shot 14 over par in the second round to now tie for second place with Texas State at +11. Georgia Southern's Margaux Brejo fired a 69 (-3) in the second round of 18 to jump to second place on the leaderboard.Â
