MONROE, La. — The ULM baseball team (26-26, 11-16 Sun Belt) looks to complete the regular season at home, hosting Troy (26-26, 15-12 Sun Belt) at The Lou. The series will begin Thursday (May 14) at 6 p.m., concluding on Saturday (May 16) at 1 p.m. All games will be streamed and live stats will be available at ULMWarhawks.com/Stats.
SERIES HISTORY VS. TROY –Â
The Warhawks will face off against the Trojans for the 54th, 55th and 56th meetings in program history, the series dating back to 2007. Troy holds the 38-15 advantage, a 17-7 edge when playing in Monroe. The last time the teams played at The Lou (2024), the Warhawks claimed one of the three games. ULM has not clinched a series over the Trojans since 2016, 2015 when in Monroe. Last season, the Warhawks went 1-2 at Troy, claiming the final game with a score of 7-3.
SCOUTING THE TROJANS –
Troy enters the final weekend tied for fourth in the Sun Belt, with a 26-26 overall record and reached 15-12 in conference play. The Trojans recorded series wins over Old Dominion, Arkansas State, Texas State, Ragin' Cajuns, Marshall and South Alabama. When playing on the road, Troy's record is 10-14, winning just two conference series when on the road. Jimmy Janicki leads the team in most offensive categories, including batting average (.353), home runs (16) and RBI (68).
LAST TIME OUT –Â
The Warhawks went 1-2 against Marshall in Huntington, keeping it close in game 1, as the Herd scored four in the eighth to find the 7-4 edge. Marshall then opened on top in the second game, claiming the 13-10 win to clinch the series. ULM struck first in the final game of the series, holding on as the Warhawks collected the 7-5 win.
Bryce Blaser hit .500 on the weekend, recording three doubles and a home run to drive in four runs.
Davis Mauzy and
Jake Haggard both drove in five runs as each claimed a home run.Â
HOT BATS –
The Warhawks host a group of hitters who have made their mark in their first season at ULM.
Davis Mauzy has recorded a hit in 42 of 52 games in the season, having multi-hit games in 19 of them. He also recorded a home run in Lafayette, a three-run go-ahead blast in game one against the Ragin' Cajuns. Mauzy is batting a team-leading .361 average and has 73 total hits.
Kade Dupont has also produced for the Warhawks in 2026. The senior registers a .353 mark and has gotten a multi-hit game in six of the last 10 performances.Â
ARANDA ASSAULT -
Marcus Aranda has emerged as the top home run threat on the team and one of the top power hitters in the conference. He homered in six of eight games from Mar. 31 through Apr. 11 and has a team-leading 13 on the year. He is the second Warhawk since 2022 to record double-digit home runs in a season. He is also second on the team in RBI with 51 total.
DANGEROUS DUPONT —
Kade Dupont was recognized on the Brooks Wallace Player of the Year Semifinalist list this season. He not only contributes offensively with a .353 batting average, 13 doubles and 31 RBIs, he records a .981 fielding percentage. With 46 putouts and 108 assists, Dupont is a force to be reckoned with in the infield.
SENIOR SATURDAY —
This Saturday, ULM will recognize 15 seniors at Lou St. Amant Field in the final regular season game of 2026. Players such as

Holden Hess are recognized as having spent their entire careers at ULM, Tubbs spending six seasons with the Warhawks.
Seaver Sheets has spent four seasons in Monroe.
