FOOTBALL, BASEBALL 1963-66
One of the few NLU athletes to earn all-conference honors in two sports. Was all-conference in baseball three times (1963-65-66) and all-conference twice in football (1965-66). Lettered four years in both sports. In baseball he led the Gulf States Conference in steals (1965). At various times he also led NLU in batting average, RBIs and home runs.
