BASEBALL 1997-99
A first team all-American and 10th overall pick in the Major League Baseball Draft in '99 after making Freshman All-American in '97, Set ULM pitching record for season victories, 14-1 in '99, Holds 2nd place with 158 strikeouts in '99. His 20 strikeouts against La. Tech set the single-game standard at ULM, 4th all-time in career strikeouts with 283. Was the SLC and La. Player of the Year in '99. In 2000 he pitched Team USA to an Olypic gold medal. Currently a starting pitcher with the Milwaukee Brewers.
