FOOTBALL COACH, DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS
Served as ULM's head football coach and athletic director for five years. In 1978 Crow guided his squad to a 6-4-1 mark. He was a near unanimous choice for the Louisiana "Coach of the Year" in 1980 after leading the Indians to a 7-4 record. Coach Crow was only the second Heisman Trophy winner to be a collegiate head coach. While athletic director, Coach Crow was instrumental in the construction of the Malone Stadium, the ULM Baseball complex, and converting the Booster Club to the Athletic Foundation.
