BASEBALL, 1962-65
Became Northeast's first baseball All-American in 1964 when he played a major role in the school's first-ever baseball conference championship. The West Monroe native set a single season record that year with a .379 batting average and led the team in home runs the next year. Later produced an outstanding career as a school administrator in Ouachita Parish.
